Water and Sewer Systems: Ensuring reliable access to clean water and efficient wastewater management systems to support population growth and economic development.

Energy Infrastructure: Investing in energy sources, updating existing power grids, and improving energy efficiency to meet our energy demands.

Public Buildings: Maintaining and renovating public buildings such as schools, libraries, and community centers to meet modern safety standards and accommodate growing populations versus building net new.

Emergency Services: Ensuring fire stations, police facilities, and emergency response systems up to date to ensure quick and effective responses to crises.

Could be paid/solved for through monitoring and oversight. We should apply fiscal accountability and responsibility to our budget oversight and monitoring process, review all budgeted line items and determine where we can braid funding, curb end of year budgetary spending, and tie the budget to measurable outcomes.
Encouraging broader employment requires a combination of policy changes and investments aimed at creating an environment for job creation and workforce participation. Key considerations include:

Education and Skills Training: Investing in education and skills training programs that align with industry needs can equip individuals with the skills required for available jobs.

Small Business Support: Policies that support entrepreneurship and small businesses can stimulate job growth.

Social Safety Nets: Ensuring a robust social safety net, including unemployment benefits and job training programs for displaced workers, can support individuals during economic transitions and encourage reemployment.
