Personal Biography Jeff and his wife Susie, have been married for 43.yrs. and have two adult daughters., Caitlin Kaczmarczyk and Brenna Fiser and six grandsons. They are longtime members of St. Joseph Catholic Church and he is a Past Grand Knight of the Shawnee Council of the Knights of Columbus. He is a graduate of Kansas State University where he also played football. Jeff was an educator for almost 40 yrs. and was the head football coach at Olathe East High School for 23 yrs. and also coached track and basebal

Community/Public Service Current County Commissioner,Former Mayor city of Shawnee, Former City Councilman City of Shawnee, Johnson County Parks and Recreation Board Member, Chairman Zoning Board of Appeals, Chairman Johnson and Wyandotte Council of Mayors, KCATA Board Member, Commissioner Bi-State Commission Union Station.
Roads, highways, utilities and wastewater projects have the most pressing needs for infrastructure and capital projects in the county. These are paid for in a variety of ways through federal, state and local opportunities through taxes, grants and programs within those entities.
Encouraging responsible economic development is necessary to encourage broader employment. That includes jobs with benefits and salaries that are competitive with other jurisdictions. At Johnson County we have created this environment and it has shown significant success in hiring and retention of employees.
Safety services are the most effective element of Johnson County Government. Keeping residents safe has and always will be my number one priority. Residents identified Med-Act services as the number one needed and wanted service in our community survey. I agree and we have updated these critical services and are making them stronger.
