The most challenging issues our state faces revolve around housing. When I relocated to Delaware 20+ years ago, it was uncommon to see an unhoused person at an intersection. I understand that there cannot be a one-size-fits-all approach to this challenge. Everyone’s story is different, so everyone’s outcome will be different. Addressing the housing challenge is the destination, but there are mile markers along the way, including but not limited to: a. Unemployment/education b. Mental and behavioral health care c. Addiction d. The disruptions of the family unit Each of these issues intersects with housing, and addressing them comprehensively is crucial for ensuring that everyone in Delaware has a place to call home.
Homelessness in Delaware more than doubled in 2022, and too many Delawareans are facing rising costs that make it difficult to own or rent a home. Everyone has the right to safe, affordable housing, and addressing this crisis requires comprehensive and bold solutions. I will advocate for:

1. Expanding Assistance for Homeowners 2. Sustainable Development of Affordable Housing 3. Partnerships with Local Organizations & Community Consultation 4. Stabilizing Rising Rents 5. Assess Rental Costs and Income Disparities 6. Protecting Rights and Expanding Resources for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness 7. Repurposing Abandoned Spaces/Lots 8. Policy Advocacy and Collaboration 9. Learning from Other States
The role of the government with regard to a woman's reproductive choices is to protect her freedom and autonomy. The government should not interfere in personal decisions about our bodies but rather ensure that our right to make informed decisions about our reproductive health is upheld. I believe we need a constitutional amendment protecting our right to choose.
I believe everyone has the right to clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment. This is an environmental justice issue, we must ensure that the impacts of development do not harm our most vulnerable communities.

As your state representative, I will fight for: 1. Infrastructure Investment 2. Protecting Delaware’s Water Sources 3. Regular Monitoring and Transparency 4. Community Education Programs.

Access to clean water is a fundamental right and it requires a collective effort to protect and maintain this vital resource.
Yes, I would support these measures. Access to healthcare, housing, and financial services are essential to fulfilling basic human needs. As a community we must affirm our commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect, regardless of their immigration status.
