The 26th Circuit is a large circuit (5 counties) and has a high volume of cases. Efficiency is key. As technology continues to emerge, it is important for the court to embrace these technologies to not only create additional dates and times for the hearing of cases and case motions, but also to reduce the lost time of attorneys awaiting their turn for hearing.
Experience, demeanor, and work ethic. I've worked tirelessly for over 20 years accumulating experience, including both criminal and civil jury trial experience, and as a prosecutor on behalf of Moniteau County. Experience means you have a judge who is educated on the issues and can rule quickly. Since I was young, I've been known for patience and an even demeanor.
