This Republic that our Founding Fathers gave us is precious. However, it has been slowly eroding away because most legislators have little to no understanding or training in the Constitution and its original intent. I am learning more and more about our founding documents and how far we have strayed from them. This knowledge is crucial to have in being a representative of the People.
I want to see at least two, preferably three, independent and out of state audits done on every cent our government has received and how it was spent. We need to cut all the wasteful spending and go back to small government. The People deserve to keep as much of their hard earned money as possible... which would strengthen our economy. Taking money from the People on the level we are seeing is absolutely wrong.
Life is a gift and should be protected at all cost.
The legislature gives general structures, while protecting the freedoms of the People and making sure everyone is treated fairly, which is the Constitutional approach.
I believe there should be a specific and separate process for registering to vote. One that secures our voting process so it cannot be manipulated in any way. Voting is one of the most important civic duties and we must protect it and insure that every vote counted is a legal vote from start to finish.
