EDUCATION

As a father of two children in ISD, I understand the need to fully fund public education to create lifelong learners who are prepared for the jobs of the future.

MENTAL HEALTH & SENIOR SERVICES As a social worker, I know how vital mental health and senior services are for our community, and I fight every day to ensure individuals have the resources they need.

CLEAN GOVERNMENT Our elected officials must have oversight and accountability to make sure they’re focusing on the needs of our residents, not lobbyists or campaign donors.

SAFE COMMUNITIES I support policies that will protect our families by creating safer communities, with well-paying jobs and affordable, accessible healthcare.
My top priority for 2025 is to continue to push for the First Responders Bill of Rights, which I filed and got through committee this year. This bill aims to protect Missouri’s firefighters, EMS workers, dispatchers, paramedics, and emergency maintenance technicians. It ensures fairness by safeguarding their rights during administrative investigations, enforcing confidentiality, and upholding their constitutional rights, including political activity and opinion expression off duty without fear of employer reprisal.

To achieve this, I will build a bipartisan coalition within the legislature just as I did this year, engage with first responder unions, and mobilize public support. Additionally, I will advocate for increased mental health resources for first responders, seeking targeted funding and initiatives to ensure they have access to the necessary care. This comprehensive approach will support and protect those who serve our communities.
