1. I have served two terms in the Wyoming House of Representatives HD 34 (House Judiciary Committee) 2017-2020. 2. I currently serve as State Senator for SD 26 (Appropriations Committee) 2020-Present. 3. 26 years US Army Infantry Officer (retired). 4. Over 25 Town Hall Meetings in the last 8 years in my legislative districts. 5. Awarded the ‘Distinguished Service Award,’ by the Wyoming Farm Bureau in 2023. 6. Rated A+ and endorsed by NRA in last election. 7. Finally, I have authored into state law several landmark pieces of legislation for my constituents, ranging from the 2nd Amendment, Food Freedom Act expansion & Life issues.
Many of my constituents are on fixed income or working two jobs. The current rise in property taxes is devastating to many citizens who I represent when combined with rising inflation and food prices. I refuse to vote for higher taxes & the legislature must reduce property taxes for all citizens. This can be done by reducing state spending and giving back tax dollars to those who pay taxes. The People don’t work for the government; the government must work for the People.
The state legislature is currently waiting on litigation in the state courts to determine the laws regarding this issue.

Thomas Jefferson was correct, ’The government closest to the people serves the people best.’ Local control is the best form of government.
Considering that drivers licenses are renewed every four years, I don’t believe the status of current residency would be very accurate after four years. Voting is a civic responsibility that should encourage all of us to make the effort to register to vote during election years.
