County Court Judge Group 2

The Constitution establishes a County Court in each of Florida’s 67 counties. The number of judges in each county varies with the area’s population and caseload. To be eligible for the office of county judge, a person must be an elector of the county and a member of The Florida Bar for at least five years. (In counties with a population of 40,000 or fewer, a person must only be a member of The Florida Bar.) County Court judges serve a six-year term and are subject to the same disciplinary standards and to the jurisdiction of the Judicial Qualifications Commission as are all other judicial offices. The 2024 salary for a County Court judge is $180,616.

LEADERSHIP, INTEGRITY & SERVICE. I have been nominated four times by the Judicial Nominating Commission to serve as a judge and received numerous accolades for my leadership and legal approach. A former prosecutor and attorney with experience in criminal, civil, and traffic litigation, my extensive background provides me with the necessary legal knowledge and courtroom experience to serve. My commitment to fairness and equal justice is rooted in my upbringing as the daughter of immigrants.
As Judge, I’ll prioritize efficiency, accuracy, & integrity in the courtroom. As a former prosecutor with the PBC State Attorney’s office managing 300-400 cases daily, a successful small-business owner of a multi-practice law firm, & former President of a professional, non-profit organization, I have experience making tough choices, managing large caseloads & meeting legal deadlines.
Yes. I have litigated hundreds of cases in the criminal, civil & traffic divisions. While, in the litigation world, most cases settle before they require a trial, I have conducted many Jury trials & Non-jury trials.

27 Jury trials 24 Non-jury trials
Judges should have a diverse legal background to ensure readiness to make efficient & effective decisions on day one in any division.

Judges should know their caseload, understand the procedural posture of each case & utilize technology where appropriate to ensure the best possible service.

Judges should be proficient in the Criminal & Civil Rules of Procedure as well as local & state Administrative Orders which establish timetables & deadlines for court filings & other courtroom matters.
