The government should stay out of reproductive decisions. The decisions should be left to a woman and her doctors.
Raise the minimum wage in Iowa. Make it easier for workers to collectively bargain. Legalize marijuana and use the taxes to help defray the costs of post high school education.
I support sensible gun control while also having a deeper conversation about what is wrong with America and gun violence, something that goes deeper than just gun control.
Update how we maintain our voter registrations, which are very outdated. Improve voter registration efforts.
I am not certain what a state can do in this regard. Obviously we need to expand the use of renewable energy (which Iowa does a good job of already). We also need to build a renewable energy infrastructure.
