I will help to bring balance back to the Legislature. I am running as an independent candidate. I will listen and advocate for the people of District 2 and all of Idaho. I will not take orders from any political party or special interest group. Idaho has been ruled by one party for over 20 years. With so much power accumulated, they have failed to listen to the people of Idaho and instead, gone off on some very extreme paths. Let’s not waste our time and taxpayer money on extremist measures like protection from cannibalism, banning specific healthcare, taking money away from public schools, limiting our right to vote, villainizing libraries and librarians, to name just a few. It’s way past time for change.
I recently retired from law enforcement after 24 years, serving in nearly every position from patrol deputy to chief. I’m a graduate of the Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy and was awarded the highest honor given to Idaho peace officers. During my law enforcement career, I was an instructor at POST and North Idaho College. Alongside serving in law enforcement, I was City of St. Maries Mayor and City Councilor for eight years and volunteered as an Advanced EMT with St. Maries Ambulance for 16 years. As a lifelong resident of St. Maries and with a lifetime of public service, I’m ready to effectively represent the people of District 2 and all of Idaho.
We must stop the extremism in the Idaho Legislature that reached alarming levels in the 2024 session. It’s destructive and very costly to Idaho taxpayers. Let’s get back to common sense and serving the best interests of Idaho people.

Idaho has been fortunate to have budget surpluses the past few years. The surpluses are coming to an end. We must learn to be more prudent with the use of taxpayer dollars. We cannot keep squandering money on defending frivolous laws that were deemed unconstitutional before they passed. I have many years of government budgeting experience and common sense and will bring that knowledge to the Legislature.
Yes. The Idaho Legislature should not come between the highly trained physician and the patient. This is another example of extremism, fear mongering, wasting taxpayer money defending this destructive law in the courts and diminishing the availability of healthcare in Idaho.
As an independent candidate, I will listen and represent the people of District 2 and Idaho. I have a lifetime of public service experience and common sense. I am not beholden to any political party or special interest group. My opponent has an A+ rating from the Idaho Freedom Foundation. This is an example of voting according to their direction and often not in the best interests of most Idahoans. It’s time for change.
