The Lolo School District is the government entity established by the State of Montana to plan and direct all aspects of the District s operations. The policies of the Board define the organization of the board and the manner of conducting its business. The powers and duties of the Board are derived from the Montana Constitution, state atatutes, and regulations. The Board of Trustees for the Lolo School District consists of five elected or appointed individuals, all of whom reside within the boundaries of the Lolo School District and are qualified voters. A normal term of office is one to three years unless completing an incomplete term due to trustee resignation. There are 2 school board positions open for election, both for 3 year terms. Three individuals have filed and will be on the May 7, 2024 ballot. Voters will vote for 2 candidates.
