1. Reducing Property Taxes: I will support a permanent reduction in property taxes for all Idahoans. I plan to do this by increasing the homeowners exemption, freezing the tax bills of seniors upon retirement, and holding taxing districts accountable for waste.

2. Protecting Our Dams: Idaho’s dams serve as the source of 60% of our electricity. If elected I will fight to preserve our dams from those who seek to tear them down.

3. 2nd Amendment: I oppose any new gun regulations, and I will work to repeal current restrictions of our freedom.
My military service as a Combat Medic and the oath I took to uphold our Constitution prepared me to deal with the hard challenges that come with defending this nation. Raising a family and paying taxes prepared me to see that politics is not theoretical. Policies made in Boise are felt by families in Lewiston, Moscow, and Deary. And growing up on a family homestead taught me about the importance of hard work. In this country, public trust is not an entitlement, it is earned through hard work and dedication.
The single biggest issue facing Idahoans right now is a looming fiscal crisis. Of our 20 billion dollar budget, nearly half comes from federal money. Our state is dependent on our broke Uncle Sam for half our needs. Since our Federal Government can’t even manage to pay its own bills, what makes us believe it will continue to pay ours?

Over the Covid-19 pandemic, encouraged by federal subsidies, state governments (including Idaho) grew our spending by 40%. Now federal money is drying up and this burden will be shifted on to taxpayers. I am committed to pushing back against wasteful spending and a dependence on federal dollars.
I am pro-life. I believe every person's life has value and ought to be cherished and protected. I believe wilfully taking innocent human life, including the lives of preborn children, is wrong. However, as the only candidate in this race with a background in healthcare, I am intimately familiar with the reality of tragedy that can at times surround a pregnancy. I have always supported a reasonable exception to our laws that allows for saving the mother’s life.

Idaho’s law currently provides an exception to save the mother's life, and I support that exception. As is currently the case in Idaho statute, I oppose any criminal liability for mother’s who undergo an abortion (lifesaving or otherwise).
I am a Christian, husband, father, and US Army veteran running for Idaho State House. My wife Sydney and I live in Moscow with our daughter, Hadassah. I am running to bring conservative values to the Idaho Legislature. I am humbly asking for your vote!

I have been a champion for public education since my appointment in 2021. I have worked for additional funding for Career and Technical Education, brought legislation to add flexibility for our high school students interested in taking CTE courses, and passed legislation that now allows Idaho Student Teachers to receive pay for the hard work they do in the classroom. I will continue to be a champion for Education, from K-12 through higher ed.
I have had careers in education, business, and agriculture. I served as program coordinator and professor in the Paralegal program at LC State for 15+ yrs. The past 45+ years, I have worked alongside my husband to manage his law practice, our family corporation (a cattle ranch, timber, and commercial real estate development), I served as a school board member, past president of the Idaho Assn. for Legal Prof, past pres. of the LC Foundation Bd., bd member of the ID Comm. Fndn, the ID Bus. for Ed. Org., serve on the Advisory Board of the U of I Exten. Bd. and have served in the Idaho House of Rep. since May 2021. I believe in being a public servant and giving back to my community and my state.
Property tax relief, better infrastructure, including broadband for our rural areas, and affordable housing are all critical areas for our citizens. I am particularly concerned about our rural areas. We saw the needs during COVID where access to Internet was greatly lacking in our State. In addition, I am concerned about our senior citizens having affordable housing and the ability to pay their rising property taxes. These are all areas we need to continue to work on.
Yes! This past session I, along with many colleagues, attempted to bring legislation to add the exception, health of the mother, to our laws. We were stopped from bringing the legislation. We need an Idaho solution to keep our OB/GYN physicians from leaving our state. Idaho's families are asking for this exception. Polling shows that over 80% of Idahoans agree that we need to add the health of the mother to Idaho's exceptions.
With my strong background in Education, Business, and Agriculture, along with my leadership experiences and ability to work with people, and finally, the experience I have in serving the people of Idaho since May 2021, I am uniquely qualified to work for you, the people of District 6. As a representative I work hard to represent ALL the people in our District. I listen, do my research, and do my best to communicate with you the voter. We have over 52,000 people in District 6, Republicans, Democrats, Unaffiliated, and others. I will continue to listen and be your voice in Boise and it would be an honor to have your support.
