Describe your background. 27 years of practicing law family law, real estate, collections, school/educational law, personal injury, medical malpractice and appeals. I was both a Deputy Prosecutor and a Deputy Public Defender for over 20 years
Occupation Judge, Howard Superior Court 2
I have 27 years of practicing law in guardianships, divorces, paternities, real estate transactions, personal injuries and medical malpractice cases, criminal prosecution, criminal defense, appeals, and handling civil and criminal trials. I was appointed by Governor Holcomb to serve as Judge of Howard Superior Court 2 after Judge Parry retired prior to the end of his term in office. The interview process was open to all Howard County attorneys, and I was the one selected to serve. I am well versed in civil and criminal trial rules, as well as the rules of evidence. I have represented thousands of clients over the years and am devoted to Howard County.
I will continue to be fair, balanced and impartial, being careful to apply the law to the facts of the case before me. I run a timely, efficient courtroom and ensure that everyone receives adequate opportunities to present their evidence before issuing a court order based on the evidence presented and applicable law.
