I am interested in representing the community, not just my personal interests. I was born and raised here, and I want a seat at the table to help when decisions are being made that will directly impact my self and everyone in the community. I am fair, hardworking and honest.
Homelessness is an ongoing problem, and it will require working together and thinking outside the box. The infrastructure and roads, water services, etc. require attention and considerable planning. I'm willing to do what it takes to move things forward.
It's such a complicated situationship. I believe we could focus first on helping those individuals who have mental illness and/or simply fell in to bad times. I think it will require a large community response, and efforts to work on this nationwide, statewide and ongoing problem. It's also exacerbated by the open borders in the South of the U.S., and our national government shipping illegal immigrants to every corner of the U.S. It is going to take a lot of working together., and thinking very creatively with a focus on being humane to the homeless population.
