Biographical Information

How would you maintain the confidentiality and security of the information you work with?

What would your definition of good service be?

How would you organize your workload?

As Clerk, how will you ensure county wide voter access?

A majority of documents in my office are accessible to the public. The only exceptions are military discharge documents and certain groups like judges police and victims of abuse that have their information redacted. Protected groups are shielded with special programs, including one through the Attorney Generals Office. Records shielded are only accessible by me and my staff and can only be released after proof of identity is provided. In some cases this can involve a court order. My office has separate off site high security electronic storage that has already proven to be safe when the county servers were attacked by hackers my office was not compromised by this attack.
My definition of good service is a prompt and courteous service, but most importantly professional and knowledgeable. I and my staff are dedicated to giving costumers the best experience possible and making sure they leave knowing they are in good hands.
I organize my workload by: prioritizing daily and delegating work accordingly. By leveraging the strengths of individual staff members and making sure we have all the necessary resources to ensure uninterrupted service.
The Recorder's office has no involvement in any part of elections.
