To continue to stand for limited government and fiscally sound policies. To safeguard our freedoms while remembering that with them comes responsibilities. To remind all that we believe in the dignity of work and the importance of personal accountability and that we reject the notion of a nanny state that seeks to dictate every aspect of our lives. To oppose reckless spending and burdensome regulations that stifle the economic growth we need to keep our kids here after they grow up. Instead let's champion policies that promote our businesses and promote entrepreneurship and allow Pennsylvania to prosper, especially in our energy sector. Plus we recognize the importance of strong families.
Let's promote all types of voting, both in-person and vote by mail. Creating a reasonable voter ID policy is also very important. All Pennsylvanians need to be confident that their votes matter. Our local election officials need to know that we owe them a great debt, and that we appreciate their service and dedication.
It's too soon to say for sure what types of changes to make. But let's make sure we don't continue to just throw more money into a broken system.
I am proudly pro-life. It's important that we encourage more women to choose life. With advances in science since our abortion laws were written more than 30 years ago, I think it would make sense to review the exceptions we currently have and see if we can adjust them to better reflect today's scientific norms, all in an effort to promote life.
