The main challenges would be technological integration. As Recorder, I would prioritize the implementation of modern technologies to streamline record-keeping processes and enhance accessibility to ensure the security of sensitive information. Additionally, I would implement security measures to protect sensitive information and comply with evolving data protection regulations, while identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of services provided to the community. I would work on community engagement to enhance transparency and provide educational resources to ensure residents are informed about the Recorders office functions and services and would explore eco-friendly practices such as going paperless.
As a Program Administrator and Project Manager, I have over 25 years of experience with the state of Ohio, where I worked on multiple projects, collecting and tracking data related to procurement and contractual agreements, including state-owned facilities across Ohio's 88 counties. Additionally, I help streamline processes and system applications for the following projects: 1. transitioning a paper-based process to an electronic system for efficient tracking and monitoring of agreements. 2. SharePoint Enhancement: Upgraded the FileNet system within SharePoint, introducing improvements to track grant funding and enhance user-friendly features. 3.DotNet Redesign: SharePoint system and incorporated Amendments and Renewals.
I aim to achieve the implementation of a user-friendly online recording system. This initiative will not only simplify the submission and retrieval of documents but also increase transparency and accessibility for the residents of Delaware County. By embracing technology, I hope to reduce processing times, minimize errors, and create a more seamless experience for both individuals and businesses interacting with the Recorder's Office.
I plan to focus on enhancing public outreach and education about the services offered by the Recorder's Office. Many residents may not be fully aware of the resources available to them. By promoting awareness and providing educational materials, we can empower the community to take full advantage of services.
