Trying to give average Americans their voices back in government. I will address that by being very open to all my constituents and not just cater to the rich
Your representatives should be your voice and not just push their own believes and agendas
I'm all for legal immigration. The key there is legal. Everyone has to come into our country the right way so we know who all is here.
We need to protect our boarders first and foremost. The boarder is the front door of the nation and no one i know of leaves their front door wide open for anyone to just come and go as they please.
we need to protect the earth because this is the only one we have. that being said, charging battery cars with coal power plants doesn't make much sense to me.
the whole health care system is broken and everything is over priced. we need to look at what grants and help the government is giving drug makers and make price caps on the ones getting help or hand outs from the government
I think discrimination is wrong but I'm not sure there is any way for the government to fix it. I don't think it is nearly as big of a problem as main stream media would make you think.

Due to skyrocketing inflation, families, farmers, and manufacturers in Ohio have been forced to pay more for everyday goods and services. We must rein in out-of-control federal spending. I introduced a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution. I oppose the death tax and introduced a bill to abolish it. Providing for the safety and security of the American people is the primary responsibility of Congress. The men and women in our Armed Forces must have the tools they need to carry out their missions, and I voted to give them the pay raises they deserve. Our vets must have the benefits they've earned. I support North American energy independence and all-of-the-above energy policies. I am working on broadband deployment. I am Pro-Life.
Free and fair elections are the bedrock of American democracy. The American people must have confidence in our elections while respecting the Constitution, federalism, and conservative principles. The United States Constitution is the greatest document in self-government the world has ever known. I have taken a solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and I take that oath very seriously. As a constitutional conservative, I believe the first three words in the Constitution, ‘We the people’, are bigger than all else in that document. I oppose efforts to: nationalize elections and remove states’ authority over their elections, fill campaign accounts with taxpayer dollars, or compromise basic voter ID guidelines.
We need to secure the southern border to protect our nation and people. Having been to our southern border four times, I believe we need to end catch and release, cease exploitation of parole authority, reinstitute the Remain in Mexico program, expand expedited removal, and restart border protection enhancements, including the wall, which Border Patrol said will stop 95% of entries. Last year, I supported the Secure the Border Act, which is the strongest border security bill advanced in decades. Securing our border is absolutely essential to stopping the deadly flow of fentanyl that continues to kill Ohioans and Americans across the country. We also must crack down on the trafficking of drugs like fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana.
While we face increased threats from foreign adversaries like Communist China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, we must support our Armed Forces as they defend our nation and protect our people. If the United States abandons our Allies like we did in Afghanistan, we will lose our trust and standing in the world. Now more than ever, the U.S. must stand with our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel, as they defend themselves from Hamas terrorists. The Chinese Communist Party represents the greatest threat to global peace and security. We must confront their human rights abuses and illegal trade practices. Russia’s economy relies on its energy industry. We must cut off Putin’s ability to use energy revenues to wage war in Ukraine.
American energy leadership is critical to ensuring we are not reliant on countries like Russia and Communist China. I supported the Lower Energy Costs Act to restore American energy independence by increasing domestic energy production, reforming permitting process for all industries, reversing anti-energy policies advanced by the Biden Admin, streamlining energy infrastructure and exports, and boosting the production and processing of critical minerals. China's CO2 emissions increased in 2023 by twice as much as US emissions declined. I support the Great Lakes Restorative Initiative, which works to protect/preserve the Great Lakes so generations to come have safe water. I support American agriculture that feeds us and the world.
Americans pay too much for health care. I sit on the Energy and Commerce Committee and serve on the Health Subcommittee. I advocate for legislation that lowers out-of-pocket costs, promotes competition, and establishes transparency and accountability in drug pricing. The pandemic highlighted the need for expanded telehealth services, which I support. Surprise billing is not right nor fair, and it must come to an end. I am proud landmark legislation I supported to create 988 as the national suicide hotline was implemented. I supported the Restoring Hope for Mental Health and Well-Being Act to fight substance use disorder and improve mental health. I coauthored the HALT Fentanyl Act to help save lives and combat the deadly overdose crisis.
I believe it is essential that we follow the Constitution and federal statutes.
