First elected in 2008, I am currently VP of the HI

I am VP of the State senate and Chair the Cmte on Education, working closely with the Board of Education and DOE Supt Hayashi to assure we continue to provide quality education for our Keiki.
Our district deals with heavy traffic each morning and afternoon. The rail has not helped yet as it doesn’t go to downtown where most drivers are headed. Hopefully, the rail will be built soon in Central Oahu
We should assure our islands continue to be a destination by keeping our infrastructure clean and safe.
Our greatest resource is our people. We need to assure that jobs pay livable wages and local people have priority.
