I am currently serving my 2nd term in the Wyoming House as Dist. 34 Representative. I ran for office upon my retirement from working in education for 17 years. The last 4, and previous to my candidacy for the Wyoming House, I was twice elected to serve as the Fremont County Republican Chairman. There, working inside Fremont County and with the other counties, I learned much about our wonderful state and our people. My background in bookkeeping, travel management, and education come from years of working in state government, the private sector, co-owner of a small business, and K-5 classrooms.
Lower government spending/the money from lower government spending to be used to take down the property taxes keeping the state budget balanced and not dependent on exhorbitant personal property taxes or federal funds and the attached strings.
I would not change what the Legislature has voted for.
Ordinances at the municipal and county level should remain within Wyoming state law.
