Suffolk County Register of Probate

The Register of Deeds is responsible for recording all documents relative to real estate including deed, mortgages, releases, and liens in the cities and towns of Boston, Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop. The Registry provides access to these documents for the purpose of checking ownership and to see if a title is clear (no liens against it) before the buyer purchases property or land.

As a business owner My strengths include simplifying complex systems and making them user-friendly and cost effective by identifying the correct channels and persons to achieve the end result. I also firmly believe that you need to hire the right person for the job or promote from within. Simply stated, the person working in accounting might be the perfect person to overhaul the finance applications everyone is required to complete when applying for a divorce and calculating child support.
I believe that the probate system is in need of a complete overhaul. Families can not afford to be trapped in a system where it is costing thousands upon thousands to settle divorces, child support, probate (wills), name changes & adoptions. The system needs to be user-friendly to the family and efficiently resolve problems and conflict in a timely manner. Resulting in reduced legal costs & court times helping both the families and the court system to end cases so people can move on with life.
I have lived in E. Boston for 20 years and have been active in the community, serving on many boards, representing a divorce community, which I will continue to do for years to come. I have already reached out to other Registers of Probate in Massachusetts and they all agree that a new system is needed and that, if we work together to fix the issues as a group can address a wide variety with better results, Massachusetts will be a leader in the family court system rather than 31st out of 50.
