The biggest issue is the lack of transparency in spending and in agencies decision processes. I will push independent audits of all agencies by separate agencies to ensure organizations aren't auditing themselves.
We need to practice true conservation in all public lands and maintain our clean air and water. We need to promote tax cuts for alternative transportation and energy sources that are clean and renewable, and are sufficient to meet the demand of Montana's needs while also tailored to Montana's harsh winter environments and farming/ranching communities.
Provide grants for women in minority populations to be able to go to law school and learn to represent their communities in the courtroom where they are often disenfranchised due to low income levels.
Allow tax cuts based on specified values for stay at home parents.
Reduce litigation insurance costs for doctors, have hospitals move to non-profit status. Develop tax benefits for small urgent care facilities based on non-profit models, and incentivize in home care along with travelling physicians combined with telehealth capabilities and more responsive and local laboratories.
