Given the cuts to the Wyoming Departments of Health and Family Services already made by Governor Gordon, how would you immediately protect the most vulnerable among us?

Do you support any legislation that may come before the 2021 session of the Legislature that could result in raising revenue? Please explain.

What is your position on “Medicaid expansion” that allows low-income adults to be eligible for healthcare coverage with 90% funding from the Federal government and 10% funding from the State?

My first pet was a duck. We swam together in a wadding pool. I was 2 & it was 1952. Wyoming has been my home for 27 years. I have lived in Lander, Cheyenne, & Worland. I am very involved in my community. I serve on several boards including the Washakie Visitor Council, Bighorn Outdoor Recreation Coalition, Washakie Library president, and the Crisis Prevention Board. I served my county in the US Air Force as a Medical Laboratory Tech for 9 years and the Bureau of Land Management for 15 years. While my children were in school I worked for 14 years in special education as a Para. So I have a very varied background. My favorite jobs were teaching swimming & coaching swim teams. The duck inspired that.
I wish a few bake sales & car washes could cover some of the costs. We need to have better plans for our use of our income. Moreover we need to diversity our economics so we can have MORE income.
Yes, but I can't imagine what it would be. It takes time to come up with reasonable ideas. And even longer to implement them. Maybe we. could sell off some stuff.
We should of done" Medicaid expansion" many years ago. The most import resource we have is people. We need to take care of all of them. In reality, we need to have one payer health care. Everyone needs health care. Prevenative health is key in that program. That means a healthier population. This is good for everyone.
