Roxbury Township Council Ward 1
The Township Council consists of seven elected officials. Council members are elected for four-year terms on a staggered basis from the population in partisan elections, with three at-large seats selected together and one seat from each of four wards elected two years later. The mayor and deputy mayor are chosen from within the council by the members of the council at a reorganization meeting held each year during the first week in January.
