What do you consider the most important challenge(s) facing Morris County and how do you plan to address it/them?

What in your personal and/or professional experience prepares you for this office?

Reviewing our : 1. Taxes: *Ratables, accessing adequacy of current process *Accessing our ability to keep and bring new businesses into Morris county 2. Efficient spending, where all the community is remembered, all the while streamlining cost 3. Building environmental considerations into our infrastructure, while improving our roadways 4. Education- using all the various resources (local school boards, county, & state) to ensure every district in our community can benefit from good education

Addressing all of the above will first come from understanding : 1. What processes/programs are currently in place 2. What contractual obligations are binding 3. What is realistically feasible under our current financial goal structure
I'm an experienced leader who believes in fiscal responsibility, accountability, and transparency. I have over a decade of experience as a Controller & earned an M.S. in Accounting. My experiences encompass reviewing efficiencies within different company structures, instituting controls, managing distribution of cash, while ensuring adherence to ethical policies.

As Freeholder, I will foster the highest level of service, while being fiscally responsible. Also, I will request & advocate for 2 things: 1. Freeholders to disclose all conflict of interest dealings on the Bio page. Disclosing, family & business conflict of interest or other jobs held in local municipalities. 2. Live streaming meeting will restore transparency & accountability

As Freeholder of Morris County my goal is to provide Morris County with a path forward into the future by creating sustainable growth and responsible development. Morris County has significant issues regarding infrastructure, namely tackling the traffic nightmare here in the County. The Morris County Vo-Tech school turns away two out of every three applicants when, according to the Morris County Talent Supply Report projection into 2026, Morris County would see a more than a 50% increase in job openings that do not require a college degree. We should be actively developing opportunities to keep money in Morris County. We should be creating an environment in Morris County where all residence should be able to live, work, and play.
I’m a lifelong resident of Morris County, a mother, wife, and attorney. I am a third generation small business attorney running my own law firm. As an attorney I fight for people who have no voice and I represent every day people, every day. I've represented our most vulnerable populations including children and patients at psychiatric facilities. I have represented applicants and objectors in land use applications as well as assisted Morris Plains in developing their Master Plan. I sit as a volunteer on an affordable housing committee in Mountain Lakes. I am running to represent Morris County for the future of Morris County.
