a. The top priority is the tax impact the municipal budget has on people’s property taxes. During the last 3 years we have had no municipal tax increases, this was not a one year gimmick, but hard work year over year to prevent tax increase while keeping the Borough on a solid financial foundation. b. Provide services to residents is a major driver of cost in any municipal budget. I have continue to expand services to the residents. This has included adding 6 additional Police officers, Upgrades to all parks and recreation fields, Added and Expand free community activities, Fireworks, Christmas Parade, National Night Out, and a street sweeping program, all have been done without increasing the municipal tax rate.
2. The most important issue facing the Municipality today is the Property Tax Burden. I plan on continuing to work to maintain a steady municipal tax rate. This will be accomplished by continue to challenge every dollar spent. Understanding the Boroughs needs versus its wants and continuing to seek out additional grant opportunities. I have successfully obtained over 1.8 million dollars in grants for Pine Hill.
3. Consolidation of municipal services and/or shared services. We have many shared services in place today, these include Tax Assessor with neighboring town, Cleaning Services with School Board, Maintenance & Repair of vehicles with neighboring community and the sharing of equipment with other government entities in town. We also participate with County, State & Municipalities in various purchasing agreements for basic supplies and equipment to get the lowest prices in order to minimize expenses.
4. We have an active Economic Development Boards who is been responsible for bring new business into town. New Business Park has been opened on Cross Keys road, a Dollar General & a Self-Storage facility have been approved allow with an Age Restricted Single Family development. I will continue to work aggressively to bring additional rateables into town without sacrificing the resident’s Quality of Life.

The top priorities in Pine Hill's next municipal budget are reducing taxes, by recruiting new businesses, providing safe spaces for youth during non-school hours and creating opportunities for our seniors citizens to contribute their talents and skills.
The most important issues facing the municipality today is high property taxes. As a result, there is an increase in the number of vacant homes. I will develop commercial corridors to attract new businesses to reduce property taxes and attract new residents.
I believe that the consolidation of municipalities and/or sharing services with neighboring municipalities in certain instances such as, fire and ambulatory services, regional high schools, sanitation and recycling activities. However, there are some services that should remain under the control of a municipality, like the Municipal Utilities and Police Departments.
I will work with owners of residential and commercial real estate to develop contiguous commercial corridors along Pine Hill's major road ways. This will provide potential businesses multiple options to design and build their business structures suitable to their taste.
