The Virginia Senate is the upper house of the General Assembly. The 40 Senators serve a 4-year term, represent over 200,000 Virginians, and receive a salary of $18,000 per year.This district includes the Counties of Pittsylvania, Mecklenburg, Prince George, Halifax, Dinwiddie, Nottoway, Charlotte, Lunenburg, Campbell, Brunswick, and Danville City.The candidates' required financial disclosures are available at the Department of Elections website at www.elections.virginia.gov/resultsreports/index.html and at www.vpap.org.

I will continue the work that I have been doing in the following ways:
By being a resource for local government and economic development teams in the region when called upon
Continued service on the Education and Economic Development Committees of the Va Tobacco Commission
Continue to serve as Chairman on Virginia’s Major Employment and Investment Commission which approves projects such as Microsoft
Continue to keep Virginia localities operating separately from one state system that could more easily be hacked.
Continue the fight to make Virginia’s Electoral Board to be a truly non-partisan board
