1. Dupont: Utilizing County, State and Environmental groups to advise on how best to ensure the highest cleaning standards. 2. Revitalizing the Town Square & 3. Parking Garage / Express Busing to NYC.: Having spent 4 years working in a Civil Planning firm, I know firsthand that the design and flow of a town can improve or harm the ability of a municipality to grow. Although I approve of the redevelopment goals of the current administration, I feel it is crucial to have a municipal parking garage. Only bringing an Express Park and Ride to NYC within the town will create the demand for the young commuting population to put down roots in Pompton Lakes, fill the new apartments being built, and drive business to our stores.
I would utilize a PILOT agreement to have a developer build and manage a parking garage in the pond hole.
1. Downtown/Redevelopment. 2. The Lack of adequate parking and pedestrian safety. 3. The proper clean-up and Redevelopment of the Chemours/DuPont property.

As a former Councilman serving on Zoning and Planning board, during my tenure we broke ground on the first phase of our Downtown Streetscape. I have been a advocate for a through cleanup and redevelopment of the Chemours/DuPont site for more than 3 decades, working with our Federal and State officials to bring this to fruition. My background in Heavy Highway Construction tells me we are about 10-15 yrs. behind in our Street and Road improvements, 80% of the streets in our town are riddled with potholes. I believe a large portion of the work could be done in-house saving Taxpayer dollars
I would like to see the Cannonball Trail reopened by Chemours/DuPont giving access to the Ramapo State Forest in Pompton lakes.
