Holland Township School District {_getChooseLabel(this.selections.length)}

Holland Township School, a hub in a developing rural community, is committed to providing the strongest educational foundation on which all our children can build a successful and productive future. The Holland Township School District serves public school students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade at Holland Township Elementary School. The nine members of the School Board have a dual role: To represent the concerns of the citizens, taxpayers and parents to the school administrators, and to represent the needs of the students and school district to the citizens, taxpayers and parents of the community. The School Board sets the policies, goals and objectives for the district and holds the superintendent responsible for implementing the policies and achieving the goals. School Board members are elected for three-year terms.

I was appointed to the Holland Twp School Board in early 2019 to fill a vacancy. I am currently employed at Essex County Correctional Facility. Prior to my transfer to E.C.C.F. in 2015, I was employed at Hunterdon County DOC since 2000 as an Officer and Sergeant. During this time I was a (3) Term President of F.O.P. #29; (1) Term State Trustee; (1) Term Recording Secretary and was on the Contract Committee from 2004-2015. As a member of the Contract Committee for Lodge #29 In addition to being an active part of the Union I was in Internal Affairs for 6 years, ERT (Emergency Response Team) member and Team Leader for 12 years, Training Coordinator for 4 years, and oversaw Policy and Procedures at Hunterdon County for 5 years.
I think it’s improving and headed in the right direction with the new administration that is in plave
I would support a school resource officer or class III. I’d like to see more police, fire and military support in the school and community and spread it throughout the County.
