Qualifications for office As a School Wellness Consultant, I partner with the PA Departments of Education and Health to help school districts across Pennsylvania improve their family engagement and health and wellness programs and policies. I will bring a unique area of expertise to our district leadership that is necessary but currently lacking. I am also a parent. I have two boys, a kindergartner and a first grader at McIntyre, so I am personally invested in the district for the next twelve years.

District North Hills School District
A closer community, a more involved community, and a healthier community. Parent engagement, transparency, and strong relationships are necessary for an amazing school district. We need a school board who is proactive and always working to make us better. I look forward to setting goals for our district in many areas of education and forming committees to work on them made up of parents and community members. I know that if we all work together, our school district could achieve amazing things.
All policies that a School Board reviews should be looked at through a lens of equity. It is a viewpoint that should always be used. My Masters in Sociology has prepared me to do just that. I know that our district includes families of different income levels and backgrounds, and we need to make sure that the needs of all of our families are being taken care of when making any decisions for our district.
I believe school districts should form strong relationships with local early learning centers and places where parents and young children spend time, such as libraries and community centers. Providing parents of young children with resources and support before they even begin kindergarten benefits the entire community.
