This is an election for Commissioner of North Miami District 3ONLY RESIDENTS OF DISTRICT 3 WILL VOTE IN THIS ELECTIONNorth Miami operates under a council-manager form of government. The city’s charter provides for a mayor, elected city-wide that serves up to two consecutive two-year terms; and four council members elected by district, who each serve no more than two consecutive four-year terms. The city council serves as the policy-making body of the city. The city manager oversees the daily operations of the city and ensures that the policies, directives, resolutions and ordinances adopted by the city council are implemented and enforced.

What makes you the best candidate for the position? Because of my platform and the engagement that I took to become a candidate; Also, I would like to see the City of North Miami to be a better city and community to live in by applying better processes, inject new initiatives for revenues, and bring new ideas for cost savings.
Platform: address Real Estate Tax and Water Bill Reduce crime aggressively for the first two years Create youth programs to combat delinquencies Bring the trash hauling department to the City North Miami Make city government transparent and accountable Implement home rehabilitation and neighborhood beautification Extended the downtown of North Miami from 125th street through 131th street; bring big developers to make the City “North Miami a Promise Land” and Bring trash holding department to the City North Miami to create new job in the community and create a peace of mind for the residents in North Miami.
