I support this resolution which establishes a Citywide Historic Preservation Task Force. This task force is critical, especially with the wide spread redevelopment that Erie is presently under going.
I support the efforts of Empower Erie to establish a community college in Erie County. We have to find a cost effective way to train and educate the next generation for the jobs of the future.

I support the Historic Preservation Task Force.
I remain concerned about a stand alone Community College in Erie until we can decide how to pay for it. Optimally, it should be self-sustaining.
My friends and neighbors urged me to run based on my years of public service. I view this job as more of the same. A public servant. There is no power or prestige in becoming a City Councilperson. Just a lot more work. But I have a good temperament for the job and stand ready to continue to help the people of Erie to the best of my ability.
Listen, learn, and rescind some old City Ordinances that are applied inequitably. Help resolve the City's ongoing financial difficulties through savings and finding new revenue streams. I would also like to implement some form of Community Benefits Agreement.
I will be the first Independent in Erie history. This makes me uniquely qualified to work with all parties towards a common goal. I have a long track record of success in many endeavors and I intend to bring these qualities to Erie City Council so that many more can succeed.

1. This was introduced by former Councilman Dave Brennan of which I supported and will continue to support.
2. The idea and concept is great as long as Empower Erie can obtain the dollars to make it work.
1. I enjoy politics, I enjoy and love many of the people in Erie City and County. I have been working with many of the movers and shakers of this community to make Erie a great place to live. And to give of myself all that I can give.
My first 100 days are long gone, however, I plan to continue to work with members of Council and Administration and Community Leaders as well as those who are in need.. There are no one or two issues that would solve all the problems we are facing.
Based upon my history in giving back to the community for the past 50 years. M-motivate E-experience L-leadership
