Something that's all too easily taken for granted is living in a community with a high quality of life. Well qualified and prepared police, fire, and other emergency services to protect us. Nice parks and recreation facilities to spend time in. A good public library to help educate and entertain us. A diligent Public Works team that keeps our roads and public facilities in really nice shape throughout the year. These are just a few of the things that Telford borough is involved with, directly or through funding, that affect our everyday lives.

Volunteer service has been an important part of my life since I was a child. The opportunity to serve the citizens of Telford borough will be an honor.
I've lived in Telford borough for over 20 years and am proud to call this my home. That also means I've been a taxpayer here for over 20 years and understand the effect of increasing taxes. Through my employment, I've been involved with some of the issues that a municipality manages: Infrastructure/construction management, environmental concerns, and public safety. I have been a volunteer with several local youth and sports organizations.

The issues most important in Telford are day to day concerns such as having a main street that needs to be resurfaced, encouraging small businesses to establish themselves in our town, and cutting down on cars speeding. As a member of the Telford Council I will work with PennDot to get the street resurfaced, work with the Main Streets program to encourage more small businesses to invest in the town, and work with representatives at the state level to get laws passed for the police to have access to radar guns. I also want Telford residents to be more connected to the town by updating the borough website such that it links to organizations, events, and businesses in town.
As a resident of Telford for 20 years I am proud to live here and want to be part of the town continuing to grow in a positive direction. I will provide a fresh voice to the Council. I think it's important to be engaged positively with residents and the people who run the town such as the police and borough manager.
Having volunteered with the Main Streets program I have a good sense of the direction of my town and will continue to work with them so that my town grows in a positive way. As a quality assurance specialist in the pharmaceutical industry I have the skillset to work with people who have different backgrounds and viewpoints. I will listen to the residents of Telford to hear what's most important to them and act as their advocate to try to resolve issues.
