Taxes are always a big issue, we have held the line with no increase for 8 years and will continue too due so. Following up on our Blight Program is also top on the list to improve quality of life for our residents. We need to continue to increase our police force as well as making sure they have all nessary training and equipment to be safe and efficient.
I have been on council for 8 years now, we as a team have been able to pave roads, rebuild our parks and return a lot of services back to our residents. My mission is not complete yet and therefore I hope to be re-elected to see my work through.
I have been a life long Bristol Twp resident and I have been involved in our community my entire life from volunteering as a firefighter, to coaching little league. I have assisted in balancing budgets and spending money efficiently and carefully.
Experience Bank Teller, Teacher, Stage Mother for Pennsylvania Ballet, Owner/CEO of Trucking Co., School Board Secretary, Administrative Assistant to Superintendent of the Bristol Township School District
Education Bristol Junior/Senior High School
I believe the most important issue facing Bristol Township is having the vision and governance to look to the wonderful opportunities that can be had for Bristol Township. With the I95/Turnpike phase I project complete. that opens up large doors for our future in endless possibilities of commerce and revenue. We need to smart in our management of the township in order to take advantage of this great accomplishment.
I am running for office to ensure our community continues to benefit from good governance. There are many opportunities in the future for Bristol Township and being part of bringing those to our residence is important for me. Another reason I am running is to ensure we continue to work with the school board members in an effort to keep taxes at bay by bringing in more revenue to offset the increase in state and federal mandates for the school district. Supporting our police and fire fighters who put themselves in danger to protect us is also a priority to me. The bottom line is looking to a bright new productive future for the residents of Bristol Township.
First being women brings many innate qualifications in running, organizing, and having the fortitude to stay the course to ensure the right things are put in place for the betterment of our community. Second, my life experiences have taught me a great deal regarding business, people, and tenacity. Having people from all different backgrounds makes for a check and balance in governance. All parts are necessary to have great government.
