I will prioritize increasing access to vocational training to ensure workers have the skills they need for the good-paying available jobs here in Minnesota. To help the economy grow and families prosper, we must focus on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurship, improve our state's infrastructure, invest in America and invest in Americans.
I have pledged to hold a monthly public town hall style event as a member of Congress in order to continually hear about the priorities and concerns of families in the Second Congressional District and answer questions.
Our government is broken. Leaders have got to come together to find policies that will expand access to affordable healthcare, make higher education more affordable, increase access to vocational skills training and upgrade our infrastructure. We need to stop playing politics with people's lives and our economy.
I will work with anyone, regardless of party, to find bipartisan solutions that will benefit families in the Second District. Throughout my campaign, I have been meeting with local mayors - Republicans, Democrats and Independents, to learn about their communities' needs. I will continue to do so when I am in Congress as a representative for all families in our district.
