The city council sets the general policies of the city, which are implemented by the city manager and staff. One of council's main duties is the adoption of policies and the enactment of the city's annual budget. City council sets fiscal policies and approves all spending , whether for operations or capital items or public facility maintenance and improvements. The council also sets salaries for city employees.

The City’s C-street dump.
There are enough people in the city and county if we had more options for much larger box stores. Jc penny’s Macy Costco and dining options I believe people wouldn’t have to leave Shelton.
Better lit streets Lower water/sewer rates maybe on a scale Affordable housing by rezoning for tiny houses
Shelton needs to attract manufacturing by making it affordable to build and do business here. Also we should encourage small businesses and give them the same attention that we give big business.
Budgeting my own business. The city manager and city controller prepares the budget and the council adopts it based on priorities.
