Experience My academic and professional experience for 38 years has been in Tax and Real Estate Consulting on all matters of increasing value and protecting taxpayers from abuse.
Increase penalties for election fraud, mail in ballot reform to protect against ballot harvesting and make trial court judges non-partisan races to protect the citizens against the loss of experienced and qualified judges based primarily on partisan straight ticket balloting and/or the implication that a particular party platform overrides or influences the ethical standards of judicial conduct in applying the law to the facts of the case before them.
1-Fund increased border security and anti-gang measures 2-Fund addiction recovery programs 3-Improve and fund our mental health system to measure progress of programs competing for the limited funding currently available 4-Educate the general public to the distinction between hand guns, rifles, assault rifles and fully automatic weapons. 5-Review the background check program currently in place to obtain a firearm

Drawing districts based upon regional likeness, not race (i.e urban vs. rural vs. border). Committing to use more metrics to undermine the current incumbent friendly and partisan gerrymandered districts such as District 117 which is inconsistent with the spirit of the Voting Rights Act protection of ethnic minority/voter majority districts. I personally saw this process working in the legislature for what it was as the DOJ and the use of the legal system resulted in a compromise drawn district which lowered Hispanic participation from my proposed 62% to the original 58% that the district had already achieved to make it more Democrat friendly. Similar abuse was attempted and achieved in favor of the other Party in other districts in Texas. The reality is that the process should be taken out of the hands of a legislature without review by a nonpartisan group of mapmakers given metrics that would lead to more meaningful proposals. Anything less is a compromise of representation!

Increase teacher salaries by capping administration overhead, allowing M & O portion of tax to follow the child to the school of their parent's choice, and work with the TEA and ISDs to come up with a plan for dilution and consolidation of the 1250 ISDs which currently serve the 254 counties. The existence of under performing ISDs for the sake of "local control" at the cost of local dollars is contrary to a classical business model of achieving the constitutional requirement of Texas to fund public education efficiently. Furthermore, the antiquated property tax system which in the words of the Supreme Court Justice Powell in the Rodriguez v. SAISD described a system that was "chaotic and unjust" and fifty years later still promotes wealth discrimination. This abuse by structure has not been eliminated by the recapture tax otherwise made more familiar as the "Robin Hood" tax. Under the legislative leadership over the last fifty years, no progress is the status quo for incumbency.
Improving Air quality in metro areas and continuing to protect and maximize the capacity to access and improve the quality and use of water.

Combat fraud, seek opportunities for greater competition in health care and expand opportunities to increase the number of practitoners without compromising the quality of those providers best provided to the market by regulating themselves through the medical, nursing, and dental professional communities.
!. Make Texas a leader in not just avoiding income taxation but also set itself on a course to no longer use property taxes as a basis for funding public education. 2. Commit to raising the results of college entrance exam scoring for those who believe that Texas should lead the way in academic excellence while diversifying the educational opportunities in traditional trades that need to be recognized as essential to the communities of service providers who are critical in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and automotive. 3. Provide a vehicle of communication for the grassroots to be better represented in Austin through a more formal and efficient way of learning the process of legislation and through digital real time surveys better understand the will of the people elected officials represent. 4. Implement water infrastructure before the next drought.
Policies that are intended to bring about better education as to what sexual harassment and assault is and is not. Additionally, the use of more surveillance in the work place with cameras and audio preceded by employment handbooks and required training in hiring to reduce the excuse of ignorance. Given the current state of affairs involving State Legislators, I would create a task force by the Texas Ethics Commission to address what it is doing to establish standards for protection and prosecution of Government leaders as an example of what the State of Texas believes is the highest and best efforts in the Capitol. The Texas Workforce Commission could also take the lead in seeking to accomplish what the EEOC was intended to accomplish in protecting the Civil Rights of all employees regardless of gender.

Experience I do not hold any political experience (yet!). I currently have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management. I am a concerned citizen like you and am willing to fight for better.
I support the process of expanding early voting, as well as passing automatic and online voter registration which will help improve elections and voter turnout.
The three measures which can reduce the gun violence that I would support would include gun safety, Sensible gun laws, and safe communities. According to the, gun safety means to implement a mandatory training and licensing along with safe-and secure-gun storage. By implementing Sensible gun laws the assault weapons would be banned immediately and a background check will be made mandatory. suggests by supporting the city wide planning and implementation of comprehensive violence prevention place to include prevention, intervention, and enforcement can possibly prevent shootings, killings and violence in the long term. In order for this measure to work successfully our communities need the proper resources. (Resource provided:
The process that I would support to ensure fair representation is to make sure that a third party neutral organization or qualified individual helps with the redistricting process. In order for it to be fair, I believe it should be done this way. Elsewise we would focus on how many Democrats, Liberals, and Republicans are in the district to ensure re-election and that is not what the purpose of redrawing the district should be about.
I support the funding for increase in education that is what I am running for, however without having the adequate knowledge of the current education budget I can't answer this question (yet). I will work hard to ensure our students will receive the quality education along with access to more extra curricular activities.
The environment is an important factor when it comes to our everyday living and the some of the Clean Power Plan, Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act are legislation that I support and would prioritize for the Texas Environment.
