More focus on collaborative wellness & preventative care; provide more opportunities for education & good-paying jobs with insurance benefits; medical care service pricing should be more transparent & itemized where possible; JPS to build more community medical homes for primary care, geriatric care, and behavioral health intervention; more doctors and medical specialists.

Soaring property tax & traffic congestion are big obstacles. TX Legislature has to allocate more transportation $ &/or permit limited public/private funding options. Allow private tech companies to drive solutions to transportation issues. Manage local gov growth, state to provide more $ to ISD, &/or combo property/sales tax are possible solutions to property tax burden.

In order to meet the needs of our county - one of the fastest-growing in the nation, we need additional neighborhood medical centers, psychiatric and behavioral health resources, and other recommended services. We have not had a bond election since 1985 and need to pass one to invest in infrastructure while ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare for all residents.
Participating in the electoral process is critical to our democracy. I would establish partnerships with organizations that seek to provide information-based voter education and in a cost-effective manner, include voter registration and other voter information in as many methods that the county communicates with residents about other county-related matters.
Residents of Southeast Tarrant County need better transportation options to get to school, work and to medical services – these are quality of life issues for hard-working families. We must have a long-term solutions approach to include increased state funding, reducing our reliance on toll roads, and investment in regional transportation.
