Why are you running for this office? What are your top priorities?
Library Trustee, Town Meeting Member, practicing attorney, Chair of Fund for Wellesley
As a Wellesley resident and current Library Trustee, I am exceedingly proud of our Library, which is truly a leader among libraries, and I am honored to serve as a Trustee. My top priority is to work with my fellow Trustees, our supporting organizations, and other Town boards and officials to ensure that the Library maintains this excellence and continues to evolve as an educational resource and community gathering place.
current library trustee; former vice-chair Advisory comm, former chair Human Resources; former WFLF
My purpose in seeking re-election is to continue the good work of the board. Through hard work, creativity and dedication we have made our Library into an award winning institution. As a member of that distinguished board, I believe that our Library is a unique center for the transmission of culture and learning. From our children’s programs, study rooms, media centers, and sponsorship of cultural events and technology education, the library remains one of Wellesley's most valuable assets. As trustee I will work hard to preserve the strong traditions of the Library while recognizing the evolving needs of the distinguished community it serves.
My top priority is to maintain EXCELLENCE in our library within the context of the fiscal challenges facing the Town.
