Biographical Information

Why are you running for this office? What are your top priorities?

Relevant Experience 18 year resident, 3 children in school system, expert in Public Records and Open Meeting Law.
In addition to many other duties, the Town Clerk is the head Records Access Officer (RAO) for the Town, meaning that the Town Clerk is responsible for ensuring that requests for public records are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner. The Town Clerk is also the central point of communication and documentation for issues of Open Meeting Law violations. As many should know by now, I am the Subject Matter Expert in the Town of Wellesley when it comes to Public Records Law and Open Meeting Law. I have successfully appealed dozens of violations of these laws on the part of the School Committee. Many of those violations occurred during my opponent’s tenure on the SC. As Town Clerk, I would be in a position to ensure compliance with these laws even more so than I am as a private citizen.
