I have been a prosecutor with the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney's office for over 17 years. I am currently the First Assistant Criminal District Attorney, supervising the attorneys and staff, assisting in the office administration and overseeing all of the capital murder and murder cases currently pending.
Justice cannot be defined by a single term. Justice comes in the form of trials, plea offers, alternative resolutions and sometimes even dismissals. Every single case and fact pattern is different, every victim's needs and desires are different, every crime is different, and every defendant is different. Seeking justice is not only a prosecutor's job as defined by the law, but it is also the living motto of the Lubbock County D.A.'s office.
