Qualifications I have 30 plus years of experience as a communications professional having worked for government, nonprofits, corporations and three Congressional campaigns. I’ve managed multimillion dollar budgets. Determined and persistent, I ran my own public relations firm for 12 years. Currently serving as president of a local Toastmasters club, I know my way around a meeting and how to manage and motivate sometimes reluctant volunteers. I am an optimist who knows how to get things done.

My top three priorities are communicating to the citizens more proactively, managing the budget to control taxes, and improving our streets and roads (paving, curbs, and traffic flow.) I believe a more informed electorate will mean a more involved electorate. More active resident participation will make for a stronger township government. Walking and talking to my neighbors I’ve learned that taxes, traffic, and infrastructure are where my focus should, and will, be.

Controlling taxes, improving communication and enhancing the quality of life in the township are my top priorities. Recent increases in taxes and fees, and division over development have affected the trust residents have in their elected officials. Providing clear information, livestreaming meetings, and explaining budget decisions effectively will improve communication and trust between the township and residents. I want to help make our township a greener, more walkable, family-friendly place

Qualifications I work for a Medicaid pharmacy benefit manager. I use my clinical knowledge to help patients get the care they need, while carefully safeguarding the taxpayer money with which we have been entrusted. This skill set is an invaluable asset for the position which I am seeking. I am endorsed by 314 Action, an organization that encourages STEM professionals to seek elected office.

1) Our taxes were raised 25%. We got nothing in return for this increase. We can’t condone this. Residents are considering leaving because of this increase. My running mates and I will examine our township’s finances and ensure proper use of taxes; 2) We will live stream township meetings. This will allow people to participate in meetings without having to attend. This will be done at no cost; 3) We will encourage residents to opt-in to electronic communications to promote transparency.
