I am very approachable, I am a good listener and I work well with others,
I am often at events that my children are involved with, examples softball, baseball, wrestling, basketball, lacrosse, cross country. I try to take an active roll in their programs and am very happy to meet new people and discuss issues that affect our community at our local level. If elected I would further offer an email for contact that pertains to community issues.
I believe the most pressing issues facing our town today are, community development, both commercial and residential. The need for better infrastructure to support this potential growth. I realize these issues are being addressed but plans need to be finalized. I believe we need a better plan for recreational areas within the town and need to develop a master plan for continued success.
With the 2% tax cap our town has been impacted and I believe we are using up our reserves. I believe we have been able to keep up with the expenses but need to look at cost saving measures.
