3 important challenges facing Monroe Twp are: -Taxes, Overspending and Overbuilding -TAXES in Monroe are on a continuous rise, we need to get them stabilized/lowered. This can be done by stopping No Show Jobs, Overspending & Overbuilding. I would support to cut municipal budget by 10% within 4 years in office. Our current 55 million dollar municipal budget should be reduced. I would hire in-house attorneys & engineers to save taxpayers money. -OVERSPENDING. We have township employees that do nothing, yet get paychecks. Once in office, I will review every dollar in budget & work with all departments by hiring in house professionals. We CAN cut spending. -OVERBUILDING in Monroe is spreading like wildfire. Our infrastructure & schools cannot handle poor planning any longer. Past & current Mayor planned poorly on master plans, resulting in another 6000 homes coming within the next 10 years. I would slow down growth thru master plan & request more impact fees from developers.

I would support the following: 1. Ethics Board should be established in Monroe and include local taxpayers on volunteer board. 2. Property tax credits for taxpayers volunteering in Monroe emergency services. 3. Hire employees that are qualified for jobs, not politically connected.
Control growth with strict master plan. Current administration approved 6000 homes and rezoned commercial properties for high density residential! I will not support zone changes that negatively impacts quality of life in Monroe! Support in house professionals (layers, engineering) we give millions of dollars every year that we need to keep. Stop no show jobs that current administration created ! Fight for proper school funding which will reduce taxes! Review municipal budget and reduce by 10% in 4 years ! I believe the quality of life is. Dry important to all residents in Monroe ! As the only candidate that is a lifetime resident of Monroe I truly understand Monrre past & present!

Creation of open space and preventing Urban sprawl.

We have been achieving this by acquiring lands for open space preservation and by successfully negotiating with the courts to prevent more mandated building.
I am not in favor of new ordinances unless there is a proven need for a specific new ordnance. I believe we may have people who want new laws that are not needed.
The MONROE TOWNSHIP council has held the Township portion of taxes relatively flat and low the entire time I've been on the council. We even deceased council person's compensation just after I was elected. Will continue on same austere direction.
