I was simply asked to run for this position by several friends who felt I would be an asset to the commissioner board to the hospital and after discussing and researching the position, I decided to give it a go. I also thought it would be a good way to give something back to the community I have chosen as my home and help make decisions that will hopefully benefit our rural community regarding our healthcare.
#1 - How to help the hospital run more efficiently #2 - Make sure that the hospital is adequately staffed with qualified doctors, nurses and personnel #3 - To insure the hospital is fiscally responsible
My first concern is to insure that the hospital is fiscally responsible. I am hoping that working with the other commissioners and the hospitals administrator that we will be able to insure that the hospital is able to stay in business and service this communities healthcare needs with quality care.
As laid out in my On-line Voter's Guide, my background includes financial and supervisory skills which I feel will be an asset to the Hospital Commissioner position. Also, my main focus is to represent the needs of our community; what is best for patient care and how can the hospital be run more efficiently without further stressing the pockets of the people who support this community?

Unfortunately I will be on the east coast visiting family during the September 25th on-line question and answer voter's guide and will not be available to actively participate. I do hope that my answers to the above questions will help the voter's get a clearer picture of who I am and why I am running for this position. Although I am running unopposed, I do hope that the voter's will cast their vote for Ellen Delaney as District #3 Hospital Commissioner. Thank you.
