Experience 12 years Norwood City Schools Board of Education
Having served 12 years on the Norwood BOE, I bring with a seasoned approach to our school systems. Working with administrators, staff and the public, we have found financial stability as well as academic growth that is unprecidented in our district
Academic growth and success - as the state test continues to change it is a challenge to keep our schools on top of the process, I will continue to work with the staff to strive for success.

Financial stability - focusing on the next 5 years to help keep us financially fit.

Continuing to keep the kids first in our planning and processes so that we can provide safe, warm and dry environments for them. Environments that are focused on their needs and that will prepare them for their future.
Talk to the people. I have never been a person that is "hard to find". I'm out in the community and always willing to talk to people about our great school system. It is also great to hear about the opportunities for growth that they may be willing to share and to discuss the concerns that they may have with the way things are going.

Transparency and communication are the best tools that we have to help bring a community together. These are 2 tools I always strive to have in my toolbox.
