Experience Over 30 years of executive business management and organizational leadership experience. Strong track record of success serving on Williamsburg Local Schools Board of Education since 2010.
I am blessed to have over 30 years of executive business management and organizational leadership experience. Over that time I've celebrated many successes, and learned invaluable lessons from defeats. As a member of Williamsburg Local Schools Board of Education I will lend the following:

1) Steady and stable leadership. 2) Financial stewardship. 3) Creative solutions to complex challenges. 4) Unrelenting pursuit of organizational excellence.
Williamsburg Local Schools will face many challenges over the next four years, including:

1) Align Academic Excellence with State Evaluations. In recent years the Ohio Department of Education has made significant changes to school district evaluations. Our district has an exceptionally talented staff and directionally we are performing at a high level. We must crack the code to have our state evaluations align with our performance.

2) Partner with our community to build a new elementary. Our elementary building has served us well for decades but we desperately need an update. When our middle/high is paid off we hope our community will support our youngest kids, and the staff who serve them, with a modern facility.

3) South Afton Commerce Park Tax Solutions . The school district is collaborating with the village, township, and county to establish mutually beneficial tax structures that attract new business, finance infrastructure improvements, and improve services to all residents.
During my tenure on Williamsburg School Board I've stood firm to four guiding principles:

1) Settle for nothing short of academic excellence. That's our #1 priority and responsibility. We cannot compromise.

2) Be fiscally responsibility. Our citizens entrust their two greatest treasures to us: their children and their tax dollars. We must squeeze every penny of value out of those tax dollars to achieve academic excellence.

3) Take ownership. As a school district we must be accountable to our community. As a team we must be accountable to each other.

4) Be good ambassadors of Williamsburg. Every member of our school district carries the tradition, integrity, and honor of our community. Embrace "The Wildcat Way" and represent us well.

It is an honor to serve Williamsburg students, parents, staff, and community. With your vote and support, we will continue the journey from Good to Great and take Williamsburg Schools to even greater success. Thank you.
