The most important issue facing Williamsburg Township is to attract quality businesses to the South Afton Park initiative. This will provide economic development in the community, hopefully providing employment with livable wages and benefits. This project will provide tax base to our school system, allowing for a progressively sustained educational opportunities.
Williamsburg Township has supported other townships in need of equipment at times of need. In example, loaning out an ambulance to other Emergency Services when the immediate needs exist. Mutual aid, for adjacent communities, remain a high priority.

I am not in support of out sourcing services. I support the Williamsburg Fire Department and Emergency Services that continue to provide services to our community, cost effective. These individuals are a great team.
The Clermont Mental Health Board provides a tremendous service to our communities, on a challenging budget. I support their four part plan. Williamsburg Township should continue to support the Clermont County Mental Health Board, the Clermont County Sheriffs Department, and our Williamsburg Emergency Services in battling this epidemic on all fronts.

The State of Ohio has tremendously cut budgets for behavior health, which this crisis is associated with. The action is to provide these services with the best tools available to collectively address the heroin and other behavior health issues. These professional need our support, a budget to address their task to be effective, and tools to educate the community.
