Ensure fiscally and environmentally responsible development of properties such as IBM and PepsiCo consistent with the needs and demographics of Somers while negotiating better Community Benefit Packages with developers.

Expedite the completion of the sidewalks program to facilitate safe pedestrian access into Town without the need to walk on the roads and with the goal of making Somers a walkable Town, ideally with a "Town Square" perhaps centered around the DeCicco's development.
With many families spending 50% or more on housing, decent and affordable housing is difficult to come by for many families. Ensuring that there is a supply of fair and affordable housing is a vital issue in any Town and Somers should emphasize the need for inclusion of affordable units when developers seek to construct new housing in Town.
