My lovely wife Kathy and I have lived in our great city for forty two years, We have two children and two grandchildren. Like most Park residents we enjoy all that the Park has to offer,Spending time at Windmill Pt. Park and Patterson Park, taking long walks, watching movies at the Okulski and Schaap theatres, and dining at at our many outstanding restaurants. What not to like? It has been an honor and privilege to serve on the Park Council for six terms, and I enthusiastically seek the honor of serving another term. Much progress has been made in the Park over the years, but challenges and opportunities remain. I want to continue to assist.
1. Maintain and improve upon our Public Safety services. The men and women of our DPS have done an admirable job keeping our city safe. Our crime rate is low year in and year out, and our ambulance and fire response is excellent. As chairman of the Public Safety Committee i will continue to promote enhanced training, cutting edge technology and expanded community outreach. 2. I fully support ongoing efforts to further improve the City's Storm and Sanitary Infrastructure. My heart goes out to the Park homeowners that suffered damages and losses from the extreme rainfalls that hit our area. 3. Continue to fight blight and slum landlords.
